Just in… Spurs injured player could make the bench and may like come in second half against Man city
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has said that Richarlison could be a surprise inclusion in Tottenham’s matchday squad against Manchester City.
Tottenham go into the Etihad Stadium without nine players, with Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon, Manor Solomon, Micky van de Ven, Ashley Phillips, James Maddison, Pape Matar Sarr, and Rodrigo Bentancur on the treatment table while Cristian Romero is suspended for the clash.
Another player who has been sidelined for the last few weeks is Richarlison, who is recovering from surgery on a pelvic injury.
Richarlison could make the bench for Man City
Gold has now revealed that the Brazilian was expected to return to training on Saturday and could thus make the trip to Manchester with the squad.
The journalist stated that if the 26-year-old comes through Saturday’s training session unscathed, he could be a later contender to take a place on the bench.
Gold added that he expects Postecoglou to make just one change to the starting eleven that faced Aston Villa, with Yves Bissouma to take the place of the injured Bentancur.

Postecoglou could certainly do with having Richarlison in the matchday squad as Veliz would be the only other attacking option he can turn to on the bench if he wants to make any changes.
