Journalist Paul Brown believes that Tottenham Hotspur might have no choice but to loan out Tanguy Ndombele again as they may find it difficult to get a transfer fee for him either in January or next summer.
While Ndombele at least showed some glimpses o f quality towards the latter part of his loan spell at Napoli last season, he has been unable to make any sort of impression at Galatasaray this season.
It was reported a couple of months ago that the Turkish club were not happy with the midfielder’s lack of professionalism as the Frenchman was overweight (Fotospor).
Just last week, Milliyet reported that Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk had already asked the club to sign a replacement for the 26-year-old in January and that the Istanbul side are expected to meet with Spurs to discuss terminating the player’s loan deal next month.
Sale unlikely for Tanguy Ndombele at Tottenham
Brown has said that Spurs may find it difficult to offload Ndombele and expressed doubts over whether the North London side would want to pay off his contract.
When asked what the future holds for the former Lyon star, the journalist told GiveMeSport: “It is going to be hard for Spurs to get a fee for him. They’re probably heading into the last window where that’s going to be possible because he has a year left on his contract.
“I don’t genuinely see Daniel Levy agreeing to tear his contract up. I think he will be looking to squeeze as much potential value out of it as possible. If that means sending Ndombele on another loan next season, if they can find him one and whether it’s successful or not, I suspect that is what they will do.
“Galatasaray, I believe, have an option to sign him permanently. But there are no signs that is likely to happen at the moment, so I think he is in limbo again and really needs to prove that he has got a future somewhere.
“In the various loans he has been on, he hasn’t really pulled up trees. He is going through a difficult spell in his career and it is up to him where he goes from here. He needs to make the most of every opportunity he gets.”

I think it has now come to the point where Tottenham might not have much choice but to terminate Ndombele’s contract.
The only other potential option would be to sell him to Saudi Arabia but I am not so sure too many Saudi Pro League clubs will want to pay a reasonable fee for the 26-year-old on the back of his struggles in Turkey.
