“Keep an eye, it’s gonna to be an easy win for…….”: Peter Crouch has now predicted the score result of Manchester United vs Tottenham.
Tottenham face Manchester United on Sunday in what should be the fixture of the weekend.
The Ange Postecoglou revolution really got underway during the reverse fixture of this one earlier this season as Spurs won 2-0 against the Red Devils at home.
That defeat also started a slump for Manchester United that is yet to be reversed.
However, things are looking up at Old Trafford, Jim Ratcliffe has arrived as a new minority investor and there’s an air of optimism around the club for the first time in a while.
In the same breath though, Spurs are on quite the run of their own at the moment, so it will be very difficult for United to get the better of Tottenham in this one.
Speaking on his podcast, Peter Crouch has been previewing this game, and when predicting the result of this match, he’s struggled to split the two sides, claiming that this could end up being a 1-1 draw.
Crouch predicts a 1-1 draw
The pundit shared his verdict on how this game will pan out.
“Son is away, but I still don’t think United will get the job done, personally no, so I’ve gone for a draw, 1-1,” Crouch said.
Tough to call
This one is very difficult to predict.
On one hand, Spurs have been in much better form than United as of late, but their defensive injury crisis combined with a number of absentees due to the African Cup of Nations and the Asian Cup means that Spurs will have to field a weakened squad in this match.
United and Tottenham always seem to have very entertaining matches, and this one should be no different as Ange Postecoglou will head to Old Trafford for the first time as Tottenham manager with the intention of attacking and winning in a dominating fashion.
