John Wenham has described Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho as someone capable of putting in “brilliant performances” and a player who can hurt Tottenham.
Ange Postecoglou will take his Spurs side to Old Trafford for a clash with ten Hag’s men on Sunday 14 January.
United are struggling for form, sitting eighth in the Premier League, although 19-year-old Garnacho has been a bright spark for his side this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the league, and recently winning United’s Player of the Month award for December (MUFC Official, 6 January).

Despite his lack of experience, Wenham has described the Argentinian as one of United’s main threats ahead of the clash on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Wenham said: “I am expecting Manchester United to be fully up for this one at Old Trafford. If you offered me a point now, I would honestly take it.
“It is important to keep our unbeaten run going. We lost up there on our last couple of visits and I think getting a point at least would keep us ticking over nicely.
“What we can’t do is lose there because I think that would lend them some momentum.
“I thought the win against Aston Villa would be a turning point for them, and then they went and lost against Nottingham Forest, so you just never really know what you’re going to get with United.
“On their day, they’ve got very good players who can put in one-off brilliant performances, such as Garnacho, who is someone who has impressed me this season, he seems to have become a focal point for them.
“Overall, if we could go there and get something from the game, I think we would be the happier side. If we could win, that would be remarkable, that’d be a real statement win, and would pretty much confirm our position in the top five for the season.”
In other Tottenham news, Postecoglou has been offered hope despite one 100 per cent Spurs ace facing “four to six weeks out”.
