JUST IN – Tottenham star Guglielmo Vicario sent a three-word message to Manchester United’s Andre Onana ahead of PL showdown.

Tottenham star calls out Manchester United ace Andre Onana ahead of Premier League battle.

Guglielmo Vicario of Tottenham had some words of encouragement for Manchester United’s goalkeeper Andre Onana ahead of their Premier League showdown.

Onana, who has been under fire from the media for most of the season will surely appreciate the sentiment. The Cameroonian goalkeeper has made a lot of high-profile mistakes during the early days of his Manchester United career.

He was one of the main reasons behind the Red Devils being knocked out of the Champions League despite scoring the same amount of goals as group toppers Bayern Munich.

Let’s have a look at what Guglielmo Vicario had to say to Onana. (h\t Mirror)

“You can make two mistakes in a row but then you can have a big game and it’s ‘Oh, this ‘keeper is unbelievable’. It’s not easy. You have to appreciate what Onana has done and what he’s doing now.”

He further appreciated the Cameroonian by calling him a very good goalkeeper. He believes that keepers need to stay balanced in their careers cause there are good moments along with plenty of bad moments.

Onana’s career so far has had an abundance of bad moments so the good is usually overshadowed. He has a chance to prove himself during tonight’s game against Tottenham.

An exemplary performance from Andre Onana will at the very least prevent Manchester United from losing further points. The Red Devils are currently sitting eighth on the Premier League table and can’t afford any more slip-ups.
The team will have to be in top form for their game against Tottenham tonight. Ange Postecoglou will be fielding his best squad, and Erik ten Hag would be wise to follow his lead.
