There’s certainly no doubt that better times have returned to Tottenham Hotspur since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou and his staff.
Six months into Postecoglou’s tenure and Spurs are unrecognisable to the side that ended last season.
The manager has not only overseen a huge squad overall in his brief spell, but also installed a whole new footballing philosophy.
That being said, Postecoglou was keen to praise two members of his Tottenham staff following yesterday’s draw with Manchester United.
Although all at the club will have hoped for three points, Spurs still looked excellent in different moments of their performance.
And when speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Ange Postecoglou praised both Ryan Mason and Mile Jedinak for their set-piece coaching.
He said: “Ryan Mason is in charge of set pieces, he’s done an outstanding job all year and Mile [Jedinak], I thought in defensive set-pieces we were brilliant again because they have a threat there.
“We’ve been good in that space all year and it’s a credit to both those coaches.
“All the coaches put a real big shift in this week, we knew we were going to be under-manned, we knew we were going to have players in there playing their first game for a while or for the first time, and all of them to a man did an outstanding job to prepare this team.”

It’s clear that Spurs are now a club that is about the whole collective.
And although Postecoglou was slightly angered by one incident during the game against United yesterday, he will be very happy with the direction the club is heading in.
Spurs have worked diligently in January to provide their manager with two excellent new options in Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin.
And the reward was already evident yesterday when both played an important role in the result.
