“We are getting it DONE, No more delays”: Daniel Levy now wants to complete Spurs’ third January signing of the window after FULL agreement with club [Full Details]

The Daily Mirror have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur want to tie up a deal for Antonio Nusa very quickly in order to ensure they do not lose the winger to other Premier League sides.

Over the last 24 hours, it has been widely reported by various outlets that Spurs are locked in talks with Club Brugge over a deal for Nusa, who has emerged as one of the most exciting young wingers across Europe over the last 12 months.

The Athletic reported on Friday that Brugge are holding out for €30m (£25.7m) for the winger and want him to remain at the club until the end of the season.

It was subsequently reported by Football.London’s Alasdair Gold that the 18-year-old has several admirers across the Premier League but Tottenham are trying to ‘edge to the front of the queue’ for the attacker.

Spurs do not want to waste time in Antonio Nusa pursuit

The Mirror have now said that the Lilywhites would like to swiftly tie up a deal for Nusa, who was the subject of interest from Chelsea last summer.

The report adds that the Norway international has also been scouted by both Arsenal and Brentford this season.

Daniel Levy is said to be keen to ‘move quickly’ for the player, who is thought to favour staying at Brugge until the end of the season, with Tottenham happy with such an arrangement.

There is no doubt that a few Premier League clubs would be watching this situation and some might even decide to try and hijack the deal over the coming days, given how highly rated the Norway international is. It is thus not surprising that Tottenham are impatient and want to get the deal over the line quickly.
