Celtic Transfer Saga Shrouded in Mystery: John Hartson Sounds Alarm as Kyogo Furuhashi Faces Backlash Despite Victory over Ross County!
Celtic got the job done against Ross County, but it wasn’t convincing, nor eye-catching from the team.
If you add in the lack of transfer business this month, then it just frustrates the Celtic fans even further.
John Hartson spoke about Brendan Rodgers’ side lacking that attacking bite and how the club’s call to sell Giorgos Giakoumakis last January was a ‘mystery’, as he posted on Twitter.
Whilst Kyogo Furuhashi has delivered in the big games for Celtic this season, it’s fair to say that he just hasn’t been at his best throughout the campaign.
That’s due to the Japan star making his usual attacking runs, but the ball is not being fed to him quickly enough.
John Hartson thinks Kyogo Furuhashi is ‘copping a bit of flack’ after the win over Ross County, with only eight goals to his name from 23 Scottish Premiership matches.
Given the levels he has set, then the drop-off, even if it’s small, is going to be obvious to all.

Celtic not at their best
The only big plus is that the team is still sitting on top and given that it has been an indifferent season, then you wonder how.
But it proves that when the buttons have been pushed, the team have been there and proved themselves.
Yes, there needs to be some sort of lift from the transfer market, the arrival of a few more players and the mood will be a lot more positive.
But, as of this moment, there is a sense of frustration because everything really isn’t hitting the levels fans expected they would.
