Tottenham Hotspur director Johan Lange has described Radu Dragusin as a player with “a lot of growth for the future”.
The Spurs chief, in conversation with the club’s media team, said there’s “much more to come” from the 22-year-old January signing.
Tottenham signed Dragusin in a £26.7million deal from Genoa, the Romania international choosing to join Spurs ahead of Bayern Munich.
Dragusin is said to have agreed a contract at Tottenham worth £50,000-a-week, according to GSP, which runs until the summer of 2030.
He has so far made three appearances for Spurs from the substitutes’ bench and is set to challenge Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero for a starting spot.
Lange called for patience regarding Dragusin, saying he’s a top talent but needs to be given time to develop at Tottenham.
“We’ve seen Radu being very strong for Genoa over a long period,” he told the Spurs cameras, as transcribed by football.london. “He has the speed and he’s very strong one v one, but he’s just turned 22.
“He’s very young player with a lot of growth for the future. Again, he has settled in well to the club but there is much more to come from him in the years to come.”

Tottenham famously went multiple transfer windows without signing a single player under Mauricio Pochettino, so it’s good to see them enjoy two really good windows in a row.
Last summer, Spurs bolstered their ranks significantly, while in January, they made three signings and were one of the busiest sides in the Premier League.
In addition, beating the likes of Bayern and Barcelona to Dragusin and Lucas Bergvall shows how much Tottenham now have, compared to maybe a few years ago.
