‘So frustrated’… Brennan Johnson shares what really annoyed Ange Postecoglou during Tottenham vs Brighton game.

Brennan Johnson has admitted that Ange Postecoglou was ‘frustrated’ at halftime during Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Brighton yesterday.

Spurs picked up a 2-1 over the Seagulls on Saturday afternoon thanks to a stoppage-time winner from Brennan Johnson.

Tottenham headed into the break 1-0 down after Pascal Gross made no mistake from the penalty spot in the 17th minute. Micky van de Ven gave away the spot-kick and Spurs struggled to stamp their authority on the game in the first half.

But much like the win over Brentford just a couple of weeks ago, Spurs came out with renewed energy and found a deserved equaliser on the hour mark.

And Johnson has admitted that Ange Postecoglou was unimpressed with his side’s display during the opening 45 minutes.

Speaking to Spurs Play, Johnson admitted that Postecoglou was ‘frustrated’ after his side failed to play their football in the first half.

“You don’t play that well or that togetherness if everyone isn’t on board,” Johnson said. “Everyone is firmly on board with how the manager plays.

“At halftime, he was so frustrated because we came away from the way we want to play. When we score goals like that, it’s stuff we work on day in day out. It’s a nice feeling.”

Sarr levelled things up on the hour mark and Johnson went on to grab a late winner after coming off the bench.

Spurs now have added depth after the returns of Sarr, Heung-Min Son and Yves Bissouma.

It certainly paid off for Postecoglou yesterday as two of his subs, Son and Johnson, linked up for the late winner.

But it’s no surprise to hear that the Aussie boss wasn’t impressed with a lacklustre first-half performance.

While Spurs have picked up positive results of late, their performances during games have been far from dominant.

  2. Thanks for your article. I would also like to say that the first thing you will need to do is verify if you really need repairing credit. To do that you will have to get your hands on a replica of your credit rating. That should really not be difficult, because government makes it necessary that you are allowed to get one cost-free copy of the credit report every year. You just have to request that from the right individuals. You can either find out from the website for your Federal Trade Commission or contact one of the leading credit agencies directly.
