A lot has changed at Tottenham since Heung-Min Son went away on international duty.

Spurs have rediscovered their best form recently, but perhaps most importantly, there are two new players in the squad.

Indeed, Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin have both joined Spurs, but they’ve had to wait a little while to meet their club captain.

Now that Son is back at Spurs, he’s had the chance to meet both Werner and Dragusin, and it’s fair to say the Romanian made quit the impression on the attacker.

Indeed, speaking on Tottenham’s YouTube channel, Son admitted that he was actually scared when he first met Radu Dragusin due to just how big the centre-back is.

Heung-Min Son was scared of Radu Dragusin

Son spoke about the £26m man.

“Radu, I was a little bit scared because he’s so big. But he’s a fantastic guy and he’s a real warrior. He wants to work and he wants to improve every single day just like you would expect from our players,” Son said.

Imagine being an attacker

Son was scared of Dragusin when he met him in training, just imagine how scary it must be to meet him on a football pitch.

Imagine being a small striker who has to play against Dragusin for 90 minutes away from home on a cold winter night, it would be a nightmare.

Dragusin’s size is remarkable, and while he does have a lot more about him than just being a big bruising centre-half, it has to be said that his strength is one of his key attributes.

As Son says, Dragusin is a scary player, and the frightening thing is that at the age of just 21, he could still end up growing in stature.
