Arsenal meanwhile edged past Porto on penalties to make it to the quarterfinal stage of the competition for the first time in 14 years.
Harry Kane and Eric Dier to face Arsenal
Kane and Dier have now learned that they will face familiar opponents in the next round, with the German side getting the Gunners in the draw which took place this afternoon at Nyon, Switzerland.
The England captain loves playing against Arsenal, holding the record for the most goals in North London derby history and Spurs fans will be hoping that he can dump Mikel Arteta’s men out of the competition.
Spurs Web Opinion
The jeers that Kane will be subject to at the Emirates will be nothing like he has ever experienced in his life but he will certainly relish the chance to return to London and deliver against the Old Enemy. It would be a fantastic sight if Dier once again proceeds to shush the Emirates crowd.
