Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier scored 11 points in the fourth quarter against the Cavaliers.

There’s no denying that guard Terry Rozier is finding his rhythm with the Miami Heat, which is leading to praise from some of his top teammates.

Star Jimmy Butler played a crucial role in Wednesday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers alongside the 30-year-old guard. Rozier recorded 24 points and two assists on 50 percent shooting while Butler finished with 30 points and four steals on efficient shooting.

“Terry put on a show, man. When half the arena is there to see you, you gotta come out and do your thing,” Butler said. “But I’m just proud of our guys for coming out and fighting a couple of men down and compete and get one on the road, which we definitely needed.”

Rozier’s most notable moments were within the final minutes of the game. He drilled a three-pointer through contact, resulting in a four-point play. He followed up that momentum-shifting play with a step-back shot from the arc to give the Heat a lead.

All-Star center Bam Adebayo was forced to watch Rozier’s performance from the sideline due to back issues but had no problem crediting him.

“Terry made big plays today, him and Jimmy definitely put the ball in the basket,” Adebayo said. “But that shot at the end of the game, I told him he was trying to be like me.”

Adebayo is making reference to his game-winning three-pointer against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.
