Premier League Table Predictions Shock: Aston Villa, Tottenham, and Chelsea Set for Surprising Finishes, Spurs’ Position Sparks Buzz [Check comment for full story link]
The conclusion of the 2023/24 Premier League season is fast approaching with around 75 percent of fixtures already played and just a quarter to go.
Key battles are still undecided, including the fight for top spot. It’s one of the best title races in recent history, with top three teams Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City all within just a point of one another after 28 fixtures.
Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur appear to be the main contenders to round off the top four and qualify for the UEFA Champions League but Manchester United, with the better run-in, could mount a surprise late comeback.
West Ham United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers make up the rest of the top half but Chelsea have a game in hand. All of those teams can be considered in contention for a European spot, so there’s plenty still up for grabs.
The relegation battle is hotting up, too, especially after points deductions. Everton saw their punishment reduced from 10 to six, while Nottingham Forest were handed a four-point penalty. Sheffield United and Burnley look rooted but Luton Town will fight to survive ahead of Forest or Everton.
Which teams, then, are the most likely to be relegated? Which sides will qualify for Europe? And who will walk away with the title? Based on the latest data simulations from Opta Analyst, here’s how the Premier League table is predicted to finish.
