Fresh injury concern for Tottenham as star player confirms he’s struggling with a knee issue, he’s now ruled out of Luton clash.

Tottenham continue to grapple with injuries this season, suffering yet another setback.

Spurs’ centre-forward Richarlison may be sidelined for the upcoming Premier League fixture against Luton Town on Saturday.

The Brazilian striker, who made a substitute appearance earlier this month after returning from a knee injury in a 3-0 defeat to Fulham, has encountered a similar issue during the international break.

Richarlison joined Brazil’s national team for two international friendly matches against England and Spain.

Despite not playing in either game, he has disclosed that his knee is causing discomfort, and he doesn’t feel fully fit.

Tottenham striker Richarlison not feeling fully fit

In an interview with UOL, Richarlison expressed his concerns about his fitness, acknowledging the discomfort in his knee and indicating that he’s not feeling fully fit.

He admitted to not being fully fit, citing discomfort in his knee.

He said:

“I spoke to Professor Dorival. He understood that I’m not 100 per cent fit.

“I’ve been feeling my knee a bit. Even with the day-to-day effort, I felt it. I’m happy with the team’s performance, though. We grew a lot in the two games and now I’ll recover well.”

Richarlison’s absence would be a blow to Tottenham, as the striker has been in excellent form recently, scoring 9 goals in his last 11 Premier League appearances after recovering from groin surgery in December.

With Tottenham aiming for a top-four finish, manager Ange Postecoglou will be hoping for Richarlison’s swift return to action to bolster their attacking options and maintain their push for Champions League qualification.
