VAN DE VEN’S WARNING SHOT! Tottenham Star Sends Chilling Message to Man City Ahead of Crunch Clash.

Micky van de Ven has shared an early warning to Manchester City ahead of their upcoming Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.

For their penultimate league match of the campaign, the Blues will travel to North London to take on Ange Postecoglou’s side and try and take another step closer to potentially winning the title.

After City beat Fulham 4-0 at Craven Cottage in Saturday’s early kick-off, the Spurs came from 1-0 down to beat Burnley 2-1, which led to Vincent Kompany’s side being relegated.

Looking ahead to Tuesday’s big tie, Van de Ven shared his thoughts on the upcoming match and how his side will be approaching it.

Van de Ven sets the tone for Man City vs Spurs.

Speaking to the media (via Premier League – 17:05) after the Burnley game, Van de Ven, who scored the winning goal against the Clarets, had this to say about Spurs’ upcoming match against City.

He said: “Hopefully we can win the upcoming matches and give ourselves a chance of qualifying for the Champions League.

“Man City are an unbelievable team with unbelievable football, but we have to show ourselves and hope for three points.

“We were good in the second half, I don’t think Burnley created a single chance after half-time.”

Man City must expect big test from Spurs

While the possibility of Spurs taking it easy on City so they don’t end up helping their North London rivals, Arsenal, win the league has been mentioned in the media, Postecoglou said that this will not be the case on Tuesday.

Now that Van de Ven has shared his stance on the game and how he and his side will be aiming to grab all three points to help with their European hopes, it’s safe to say that City will have a tough test on their hand.

Bearing in mind how City have a lot of experience when it comes to winning games in the crucial periods of title races, we feel that they will be approaching this big game at Spurs just like any other big game and not expect any sort of easy treatment.
