Jamie O’Hara would love to see Michael Olise join Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Olise has made quite a name for himself with impressive performances for Crystal Palace. His work hasn’t gone unnoticed and there is no shortage of interest in his services. Former Tottenham player Jamie O’Hara is keen on having the French youth international at the North London club and he is ready to part ways with Dejan Kulusevski to make things happened.
While speaking on talkSPORT about the 22-year-old Eagles winger, O’Hara said: “Eze, I love watching him, but Olise, for me, star player. Good player. He glides past people. Obviously, Mateta, upfront, he is banging in goals, but them two, mate.”
The talkSPORT pundit seems quite impressed with the Crystal Palace forward. Olise might not have broken into the French national team yet but he has huge potential. Despite having missed a significant number of games this term, the 22-year-old still has 10 goals and five assists in just 18 Premier League outings.
O’Hara also suggested to Gabriel Agbonlahor that he would get rid of Dejan Kulusevski in order to accommodate the 22-year-old at Spurs.
He said: “I would snap your hand off for him. Kulusevski, see you later.”
Olise has the ability to fit into Tottenham’s starting lineup and he will add goals to the mix, create chances for those around him and improve them going forward.
It is unlikely that Spurs will sanction the departure of Kulusevski and replace him with Olise, regardless of the Swedish winger’s form this season.
Kulusevski has been an important player for Tottenham since joining the club, and he is likely to regain his confidence and form once again. The North London club must keep him at the club for the long term. The 24-year-old is likely to improve further with coaching and experience.
Meanwhile, Olise is a phenomenal talent with a big future and it remains to be seen whether Spurs make a move for him in the near fut ure.
