NEWS IN – Fans Furious Reaction Sparks Social Media as Tottenham CONFIRMS first Summer transfer! You Won’t Believe Who’s Leaving…..

Tottenham transfer news as Ryan Sessegnon set to leave the club this summer after injury issues derail his final season at the club.

Tottenham have informed Ryan Sessegnon that his contract will not be extended this summer, football.london understands. The 24-year-old had an option for a further year in his deal but will not be remaining at the club past the end of the month.

Sessegnon only played twice this season due to a continuation of injury issues hat have plagued his time in north London. He will now become a free agent after making just 57 appearances for Spurs since arriving in 2019 for over £20million from Fulham.

His last match for the club came on January 5 as a late substitute during the 1-0 FA Cup victory over Burnley. That was his only senior outing, with his other appearance coming in mid-February for the Under-21s against West Ham.

He has unsurprisingly not been called up for the end-of-season friendly clash with Newcastle in Australia on Wednesday. Tottenham named a 24-man squad for that game, omitting Cristian Romero and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

TOTTENHAM are reportedly set to release Ryan Sessegnon on a free transfer this summer.

The left-back, 24, has played just seven minutes of football this season.

And Sessegnon’s £60,000-a-week contract expires at the end of June.

Fabrizio Romano claims the U19 Euro winner with England will not be offered a new deal.

It means he will become a free agent at the start of July.

And despite struggling at Spurs, he will not be short of offers either.

It’s reckoned Sessegnon is attracting interest from plenty of teams in England and across Europe.

But the speedster, who can also play further up the field, would prefer to remain in the Premier League.

Sessegnon cost £25million when he joined Spurs from London rivals Fulham in 2019.

He became a star at Craven Cottage with 25 goals in 120 matches.

And big things were expected of Sessegnon when he moved to the capital’s north.

However, he made just 57 appearances in five seasons, while also spending time on loan in Germany with Hoffenheim.

And after featuring for only seven minutes under Ange Postecoglou this term, Sessegnon’s Tottenham career looks to have run its course.

Spurs look set for more squad changes, with doubts over the futures of several players.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Emerson Royal, Bryan Gil, Gio Lo Celso and Manor Solomon all face uncertain futures.

While a decision is yet to be made on Timo Werner’s loan from RB Leipzig.

But Tottenham have already been active in the market and will welcome Swedish prodigy Lucas Bergvall next month.
