The 21-year-old joins the Spurs family after her contract with Southampton expired, bringing an end to her seven-year association with the club, which began when she was just 14 years old.
Morris’s journey with Southampton was nothing short of remarkable. She progressed through the academy ranks with ease, earning a promotion to the first team during the 2018/19 season. Her outstanding performances quickly caught the attention of the coaching staff and fans alike, earning her the prestigious awards of Southampton’s Women’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season.
One of Morris’s most notable achievements was her instrumental role in helping Southampton secure promotion to the FA Women’s Championship for the first time in the club’s history in May 2022. Her contributions didn’t stop there, as she went on to make 23 appearances last season, playing a vital part in the team’s best-ever finish in England’s second tier, securing a fourth-place standing.
Throughout her senior career, which began at just 17 years old, Morris has accumulated an impressive 117 appearances and scored 14 goals for Southampton. Her talent and dedication have also been recognized on the international stage, where she has represented England across various youth levels, most recently with the Under-23s.
