🚨Kieran Trippier spotted leaving Newcastle Airport🚨 🗣️It’s confirmed I can’t be here anymore 🗣️I don’t know if the fans will still love me after this…!

Kieran Trippier has been pictured jetting out of Newcastle Airport amid talk that he will be sold by the Magpies this summer.

The England international was spotted leaving the country on Friday on the eve of Newcastle United’s clash at Hull City tomorrow. But Trippier was never set to be involved at the MKM Stadium with his extended holiday still ongoing.

Trippier has simply been granted extra time off after England made it to the Euro 2024 final against Spain. And by helping England get there as part of the team that beat Slovakia, Switzerland and Holland in the knockout stages he is not due to meet up with United until later in pre-season.

His presence at the airport was simply because the 33-year-old was heading away for a few days break, according to United sources. The right-back is still on the wish-list of Saudi Pro League clubs and Galatasaray but no deal is thought to be close today and the defender is merely enjoying the remainder of his break.

What is true is that Toon chiefs have had a number of enquiries on Trippier over his contract and salary status and a move out of St James’ Park could unfold before the August 30 window.

Newcastle have welcomed back both Miguel Almiron and Fabian Schar after the pair were afforded extra time off following the Copa America and Euro 2024. Both were involved in training on Friday at Benton but it remains to be seen whether they will be in the squad for Hull.

As things stand, there is a chance that Schar and possibly Almiron could be on the plane for Japan after the clash against the Tigers concludes. Trippier’s future is in the air as he has just one year left on his contract and will find himself in a fight for the right-back slot with Tino Livramento.
