Fans are left with goosebumps after Son Heung-Min exciting message, It makes their day already!
Tottenham have been going hard at their pre-season camp in Asia and Son has been speaking about the prospects in the team.
Tottenham captain Son Heung-min says the young players in the team are well-placed to excel this season and admitted they were a joy to watch during their ongoing pre-season tour. Spurs have some really promising players, with Mikey Moore attracting interest from Championship clubs including Leeds United and Sunderland.
They have added Archie Gray from Leeds who, despite already playing many games, is one of the youngest in the squad at just 18. Then there is Swedish sensation Lucas Bergvall, who was signed last January but arrived at the club this summer. There are reports that heβs the next big thing in European football.
Both Gray and Bergvall have shown they are capable of mixing it with the big boys, and captain Son says theyβre an absolute delight to watch.
He told Football.London: βTheyβre working really hard every single day; they want to show who they are. I think itβs just a joy to watch, and both of them are working really hardβthey just want to listen and just want to learn.
βI think thatβs very important at this age because you hope those guys both have amazing bright futures. So, Iβm always trying to help the two of them because they just came to a new club and they probably need a little bit of help from me. Itβs just a joy to watch. Every single day they impress me with their attitude.β
Last season, Tottenham started strong, winning eight of their first games, but the wheels came off when they had players suspended and injured. They eventually recovered and secured a fifth-place finish, painfully missing out on Champions League football and having to settle for the Europa League. They will hope that their new additions help them challenge Manchester City and Arsenal for the league title next season.
