However, the Bournemouth star will cost a lot of money as well.
CaughtOffside claim that Andoni Iraola’s side have no interest in selling Solanke and have made the same clear to his agents in a meeting recently.
That could force Arsenal and Tottenham to look elsewhere, and the report claims that they could go back in to sign Jonathan David of Lille.
The Canada international has entered the final year of his contract, and 90min have revealed that he could be available for as little as £20 million this summer.
That would be a massive bargain for Spurs.Solanke and David are both great options for
Tottenham .
The Englishman knows the Premier League really well and would offer Spurs something that they don’t have in their squad – a physical presence up top.
David, on the other hand, is a brilliant finisher and the fact that he would be available for just £20 million makes him a really attractive option for Ange Postecoglou.
The Lille star has even been described as ‘ one of the best strikers in the world‘ by Canadian sports expert Tony Marinaro.
Both players make sense for Tottenham, but if we were in Postecoglou’s shoes, we would go after Solanke because he would add a completely different dimension to their attack.
That would make Spurs a lot more unpredictable and thus, even more dangerous.
