Chelsea star forward unsettled by transfer situation after signing a top talent in his position of play
HITC understands that the future of a Chelsea striker is currently unclear with the Blues closing in on the signing of Samu Omorodion.
Chelsea have been one of the busier sides this summer with Enzo Maresca replacing Mauricio Pochettino after the Argentine struggled.
The Blues have been involved in something of a transfer domino with Atletico Madrid signing Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher which has led to the Blues closing in on a deal for Samu Omorodion.
Atletico had previously rejected Chelsea’s attempts to sign Omorodion but the Spanish giants are closing in on a deal for Julian Alvarez from Manchester City.
As for Chelsea, one striker is said to be unhappy about the situation.
Nicolas Jackson unsettled by Chelsea situation
HITC understands that Nicolas Jacksonremains unsettled at Chelsea and his exit from the club can’t be ruled out this summer.
Jackon was one of the Chelsea squad that was most perturbed by Pochettino’s exit. Chelsea have been busy in the striker market this summer with Omorodion joined by Marc Guiu, who moved to the Blues from Barcelona.
HITC has also reported that Chelsea are keen on Napoli’s Victor Osimhen with the Nigerian striker keen on a move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
This has left Jackson in a difficult situation with the forward potentially third choice if Osimhen moves to Stamford Bridge so an exit for the former Villarreal forward cannot be ruled out.
Last season for the Blues, Jackson was the club’s first-choice striker for much of last campaign under the Argentine and the Senegalese forward scored 14 Premier League goals for Chelsea.
Pochettino labelled Jackson as ‘important’ when speaking to the BBC but it appears the forward could be on his way out.
Chelsea’s stance on Osimhen deal explained
Chelsea’s talks with Napoli are continuing – the main point being the deal for Romelu Lukaku, but also interest in Osimhen remains.
Lukaku is understood to be keen on reuniting with Antonio Conte at Napoli and any move for the Belgian may be key in Chelsea’s attempts for Osimhen.

Chelsea would like to loan Osimhen ideally but Napoli are not keen. HITC is told the player would, but only if it continued a mandatory clause.
And it is Chelsea’s chase of Osimhen too, that has made it known to Jackson that he does not feel he is going to be one of Maresca’s first choices so a move away from Stamford Bridge could well be on the cards.
