Tottenham star has REJECT Spurs exit plans for him after new transfer development unveiled by Bryan King
Bryan King has insisted that Tottenham have a real problem after Richarlison rejected a move to Saudi Arabia before the August 30 deadline.
The ex-Spurs scout admitted that Ange Postecoglou will find it impossible to guarantee regular football for the big-money Brazilian, with his potential not fulfilled.
It comes after it was reported that Richarlison wants to stay in England to improve his chances with Brazil, despite an offer from Saudi [BBC].
“I don’t think he is going to be getting much game time at Tottenham,” he exclusively told Tottenham News.
“Ange Postecoglou can’t promise Richarlison regular football, it is impossible the way that he has performed.
“Who is going to pay the kind of money that the Saudi clubs will? I can’t see any club in England wanting to pay over £50million for him.
“Therefore, that leaves Tottenham with a problem. They have just bought their record-signing, and their previous record-signing doesn’t want to leave.
“Richarlison hasn’t fulfilled any of his potential at Spurs. All he has done is create a feeling of uneasiness within the football club, from what I have seen anyway.
“One of my priorities would have been getting rid of Richarlison. Is he going to go on loan somewhere? I just can’t see anyone paying the kind of money the Saudis would pay.”
Richarlison to leave Tottenham?
After Dominic Solanke became the new club-record signing [Duncan Castles], it would be a smart decision to get rid of the Brazilian and try to bring in some cash.
Daniel Levy is a ruthless machine when it comes to decisions like these, and Postecoglou will also have a say in matters on his squad.
If the attacker is happy being a rotation option and staying, then Spurs will be happy to have great options, but the minute that ends, an exit looks to be more likely.
