Journalist Keith Downie has now shared a fresh update on the Guehi state of play on Sky Sports News.Downie has reported that Newcastleâs third offer for Guehi, understood to be ÂŁ55million plus ÂŁ5million in add-ons, has been turned down by Palace.
âTalks continue over a deal but Newcastle looking at alternatives should the deal not happen,â added the Sky Sports journalist.
Race still open for âgenerational talentâ
Although Newcastle remain in talks over Guehi, Downieâs report suggests they donât seem too desperate to sign him, as they have alternatives .This could potentially let the likes of Tottenham ,
Liverpool and Arsenal back in the race for the Euro 2024 finalist if they decide to intensify their interest.
