‘Really talented’… Pedro Neto names the two Chelsea stars he’s looking forward to playing with
Pedro Neto cannot wait to get started at Chelsea following his move from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Pedro Neto officially joined Chelsea last Sunday on a seven-year contract, and the winger has now named two teammates whom he is really looking forward to playing with.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has hailed Neto as a “great signing”, and the Portuguese attacker will be looking to prove that this weekend.
Chelsea face Manchester City on Sunday in a game that could see Neto make his debut for the club.
Pedro Neto cannot wait to play alongside Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez
Cole Palmer was Chelsea’s best player last season after finishing the campaign as their top scorer, while Enzo Fernandez is one of the more high-profile members of Enzo Maresca‘s squad.
Neto has now revealed that he is really looking forward to playing with the two and the rest of the Chelsea team.
In a video shared by the club’s official X account, the Portugal international said: “To be honest, I’m looking forward to playing with everyone. Of course we have here really good players.
“Palmer last season, he had an unbelievable season as well. We have loads of players. I’m looking forward to playing with loads of them, because we have a really talented team with good players. Enzo as well that was in Portugal playing.”

Chelsea could have one of the best attacks in the Premier League this season
On paper, an attack consisting of Neto, Palmer, Christopher Nkunku and Victor Osimhen could be incredible.
Napoli’s talisman could move to Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes, with Osimhen currently on Maresca’s radar.
It is a forward line that would have goals and creativity in it and looks capable of getting Chelsea back into the top four.
With Fernandez and Moises Caicedo both at the club, the Blues’ midfield does not look too bad either.
Ultimately, whether Chelsea sign Osimhen or not this summer, they will have a really good attack. If the likes of Neto and Nkunku can stay fit, alongside Palmer, that is a forward line that Premier League defences across the country will be afraid of.
And it is one that could be seen as early as Sunday when Pep Guardiola’s men make the trip down to west London. Chelsea fans will be hoping that Maresca can get it to click quickly.
