Newcastle United are back in action on Sunday after the international break as they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in a 4:30pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.
So far the pundit predictions have Newcastle coming away with all three points as both Mark Lawrenson and Paul Merson have gone with the Magpies stealing a 2-1 win.
However, we’re not sure those two have paid much attention to the previous meetings between these two sides in the Midlands. Newcastle’s last win at Molineux came in the Championship. Since then Newcastle have lost once and drawn five times.
Each one of those draws did have goals, though, so it should be an entertaining game at least.

Chris Sutton has clearly read the form guide before making his prediction for the BBC.
“Newcastle are unbeaten in the Premier League so far but their performances have not been there and they have got away with it a little bit up until now.
“Wolves, in contrast, are yet to win. They made lots of mistakes when they got hammered 6-2 by Chelsea, but created plenty of chances themselves too.
“Is it going to click for Newcastle this time, or will Wolves get it together? You could make a case for both teams and, whoever wins, it would not surprise me.
“The safe bet would be a draw here, and you can guarantee that is the result the public will vote for above, but only spineless people would go for that…
“Sutton’s prediction: 1-1”
Can Newcastle break the Molineux hoodoo?
Sutton has broken the streak of 2-1 win predictions, but at least nobody has us losing this one.
As we said yesterday, we feel we should be winning this, but there’s just something about Molineux lately that makes us question whether we will.
Honestly, though, we’re just glad the Premier League is back. This last international break, even with all the positive Newcastle stories, was still a snooze fest.
