Ange Postecoglou should start Mikey Moore against West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (19 October).
Moore has burst onto the scene in North London this season, with his hard work behind the scenes clearly paying off.
He has already featured five times for Spurs this term and was handed his first full 90 minutes for the club in their 2-1 UEFA Europa League win over Ferencváros at the Groupama Arena (3 October).
However, he is yet to start in the Premier League, having featured off the bench three times in the competition this season.
After a triple injury boost for Ange Postecoglou in North London (via Paul O Keefe, 10 October), Moore’s path to the first-team might become a little more crowded.
However, Postecoglou might want to ease Son Heung-min back into action. Therefore, if a space does open up on the left, it should be Moore who starts against the Hammers, not Timo Werner.
Werner has failed to make much of an impression when he has started, and after Moore’s recent exploits for England’s Under-19s, he has proven that he is ready to make an impact.

Although he started on the bench against the Netherland’s Under-19s in Marbella on Saturday (12 October), he still managed to come on and have his say in a 4-1 victory for the Young Lions.
With 65 minutes played in the second of England Under-19s’ three games in Marbella this month, Moore came on for Chelsea’s Shumaira Mheuka.
And in the closing moments of stoppage time, “Moore made a mazy run into the area before expertly slotting home”
