EXPLOSIVE FEUD! Bryan King UNLEASHES Fury on Gary Neville After Shocking Dejan Kulusevski Claim – You Won’t Believe What He Said!.
Bryan King has blasted Gary Neville for his “unnecessary” comments about Dejan Kulusevski as the pundit admitted big clubs will be watching the Tottenham star.
The ex-Spurs scout was blown away by Kulusevski’s performance, which saw the 24-year-old compared with ABBA, in Tottenham’s 4-0 Premier League win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium [23 November].
Speaking on Sky Sports after Spurs’ win at the Etihad, Neville said about Kulusevski [via Football London, 24 November], “This is a player that the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid begin to look at.
“I am not being disrespectful to Spurs, but that was the level of his performance and he has been like that for a while now. He was outstanding.”
However, King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has urged Kulusevski to remain focused in North London.
“I wouldn’t look into that statement any further than listening to it,” King said.
“Any player in the Premier League who performs consistently will generate interest. However, Tottenham are as big a football club as the majority of clubs who Kulusevski could put his name too.
“What is Neville an agent all of a sudden? Those comments are totally unnecessary, just let Kulusevski focus on what he is doing. He is finally starting to show that true potential.
“Not only was his use of the ball against City outstanding, but his work rate was outstanding as well. He was one of the better players against City. That is what we want to see from him in every game.”
Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski attracting interest from around Europe?
Kulusevski isn’t a player who has often been linked away from Tottenham since he joined the club.
However, his form this season is no doubt likely to have captured the attention of some of Europe’s bigger clubs, especially after what Pep Guardiola has said about the player.
And comments like the ones Neville has made will only further fuel any interest. Therefore, Ange Postecoglou might be slightly concerned about holding onto the Spurs star.
However, Kulusevski is under contract in North London until 2028. As a result, there shouldn’t be any immediate concern over the player moving on.
