Aleksander Isak took to social media to celebrate his Newcastle’s win and his hat-trick against Ipswich Town and received a “ridiculous” response from a teammate.
The Swedish international scored his first hat-trick as the Magpies demolished Ipswich Town 4-0 at Portman Road on Saturday (21 December).

He reached double figures for the season with 10 goals, trailing only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah.
The striker has been heavily linked with a move away, particularly to Arsenal, but Eddie Howe has declared he’s “desperate” to keep him [BBC Sport].
Isak took to Instagram to celebrate the victory, captioning his post: “Merry Christmas” as he held up three fingers in celebration.
Teammates were in awe of his performance, with Bruno Guimaraes commenting “World class” and Joe Willock calling him a “Ridiculous baller”.

Arsenal are already keen on him, but pundits believe it will take up to £100 million to secure his signature. For a striker who consistently reaches double figures each season, that price might be worth every penny.
Howe’s team has been facing challenges with profit and sustainability rules, and losing one of their key players would be a major setback in what has already been an injury-hit season.
They’ve already lost Callum Wilson to yet another hamstring issue, and fans are growing frustrated with his repeated fitness setbacks.
While it’s extremely unlikely that the Tyneside club will sell mid-season, it’s becoming more likely that one of their top players may leave soon.
Guimaraes has been linked with a move to Man City, and Anthony Gordon was reportedly in talks with Liverpool last summer.
However, as the team’s form begins to improve, fans will be hoping that the January transfer window doesn’t lead to any key players leaving.
