🚨JUST IN :The Hammers are willing to offload one of the Top strikers in the club to sign another striker. 🗣️ This will get his huge wages off the books

West Ham are planning to accept an offer for Danny Ings in the last month of the window if the fee can help them sign another striker. The Hammers added yet another ageing striker in Niclas Fullkrug who is 31-years-old. The German has been added to a strike force with a combined age of 66, with Ings recently turning 32 and Michail Antonio turning 35 in March.
Julen Lopetegui is reasonably happy with both back-up forward options. However, West Ham would be keen to replace Ings with someone younger if they can get a transfer fee and his huge £150,00 wages off the books.

Southampton were reportedly interested in bringing their former fan favourite back, however, his wage demands proved to be too high for the Saints and they signed opted to sign Ben Brereton-Diaz from Villarreal instead. The deal with Southampton was said to be worth around £6m, the Hammers will do very well to get another offer that high this month.

However, if Ings was to stay at the London Stadium it would be far from a bad thing. even though he has had a very underwhelming time at the club so far. The Lopetegui appointment could be the breath of fresh air the striker needed. Ings thrives on an attacking system with players around him to support and create chances for him, this is exactly how Lopetegui plays. So, if he manages to get minutes this season, you would be a fool to completely write him off.
