Exclusive: Man City could pay more huge payouts after 115 charges verdict.
Manchester City could be forced to pay compensation to European clubs if they are found guilty of serious breaches in their 115 charges case, sources have told Football Insider.
Man City were dealt the charges by the Premier League in February 2023 for allegedly breaching the financial fair play (FFP) rules over a nine-year period between 2009 and 2018.
They are alleged to have concealed payments through third parties by disguising them as sponsorship revenue.
An independent commission hearing started in September and ended in December, with the panel now considering its verdict.
The Times reported on 13 November Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United have lodged legal notices reserving the right to seek a payout if the English champions are found guilty of serious breaches.
Sources have told Football Insider that European clubs could also submit compensation claims against Man City if they can prove the alleged breaches had a negative impact on them financially.

Football Insider revealed last April Man City could be relegated to the Championship if they are found guilty of the charges.
Their lawyers are expected to appeal against any potential punishment after the club have been adamant they haven’t done anything wrong since the charges were handed out two years ago.
The case hasn’t prevented Pep Guardiola from strengthening his side with four new additions in the recent transfer window.
Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis and Nico Gonzalez all made the move to the Etihad to take the club’s overall January spending to £180million.
The Times reported on 3 February a transfer embargo is one of the sanctions the Manchester giants could face if they are found guilty of some of the 115 charges.
Football Insider revealed on 25 January Man City’s spending was not in preparation for a transfer ban and was purely based around improving their squad.
Man City have shown ‘massive’ confidence
Although matters on the pitch have been challenging in recent months, Etihad chiefs have been handed a boost after Guardiola and Erling Haaland have both penned new contracts.
Guardiola’s deal is now set to run until 2027, while Haaland is signed up until 2034.
Finance expert Stefan Borson told Football Insider Man City have shown “massive” confidence in their 115 charges case following their latest deals.
Guardiola’s side currently sit fifth in the Premier League table after their disappointing first half of the season.
