Un nuovo ostacolo per l’Inter alla Coppa del Mondo per club FIFA.

Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has suffered a calf strain, and will miss the FIFA Club World Cup round of sixteen.
The Nerazzurri confirm that the Turkish international underwent tests which showed a strain to his right soleus muscle. Gazzetta.it further report that he will definitely miss the next round of the tournament.
Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has been on the sidelines with injury for a few weeks now.
The 31-year-old started for Inter in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. However, he was forced off as a substitute in the second half.
This was due to a thigh injury. And whilst recovering from that injury, Calhanoglu has missed Inter’s first two Club World Cup group stage matches against Monterrey and Urawa Red D iamonds.
Calhanoglu will also miss this evening’s final group stage match against River Plate.

Furthermore, the club confirm that Calhanoglu underwent test with the medical staff today.
These showed that the former AC Milan midfielder has suffered a calf injury. He has sustained a strain to the soleus muscle in his right leg.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, this injury will not only rule Calhanoglu out this evening.
The Turk will also miss, at the very least, the round of sixteen, should Inter make it that far.
