However, he added that a transfer at this stage appears unlikely.

Akpınar confirmed that both Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk and the club’s management remain highly satisfied with Gabriel Sara’s contributions and have no intentions of parting with him during the current transfer window. “Leeds United are one of the teams following Gabriel Sara outside of Aston Villa. There is no change in the process. Both Mr. Okan and the management are very satisfied. He will remain in the squad,” Akpınar was quoted as saying.

Leeds United had reportedly taken early steps to explore a potential deal, following encouraging scouting reports and Sara’s previous Premier League experience. However, despite their interest, it now seems that Galatasaray are unwilling to let the player go, especially as they prepare for another domestic title defense and a potential run in European competitions.
