Ange Postecoglou has experienced a difficult start to life at Nottingham Forest.
Not only did the Australian take over in strange circumstances – replacing a manager who had done little wrong in Nuno Espirito Santo – but results have been poor too.
The man born in Nea Filadelfeia has overseen five games in charge of Nottingham Forest so far without victory.
Darren Bent has now shared what he finds to be “off” about Ange Postecoglou as he hunts for his first win since replacing Nuno.

Managers are expected to set the tone after arriving at a new club, not only in terms of tactics, but also in terms of enthusiasm and energy.
However, Bent feels Postecoglou is not conveying the correct message with his body language.
The 41-year-old told talkSPORT: “I trust Nuno and I think he was getting the best out of this Forest squad. It’s a big job for Ange and even when he does his interviews now, I’m watching him. The body language is all off.”
It was only a matter of months ago that Postecoglou – who could face FFP issues – lost his job at Tottenham despite winning the UEFA Europa League, so he could be forgiven for cutting a fairly miserable figure.
However, the 60-year-old cannot allow what happened in north London to infect the mood around Nottingham Forest.
Chris Wood defends Ange Postecoglou
While Postecoglou – who Pep Guardiola admires – may seem a bit disinterested at times during his interviews, Chris Wood has assured supporters that the new man is determined to be a success at the City Ground.
When asked what has “stood out” about Postecoglou so far, the New Zealand international told Stan Sport Football: “His belief, his determination to achieve big things. Everyone knows he’s been a winner in his whole career. He’s won trophies, won things, that’s the way he believes in football. His determination to do something great here.”
Aside from that aforementioned UEFA Europa League success at Spurs, the Nottingham Forest boss has previously won the following trophies in management.
Life doesn’t get any easier for Postecoglou with a tricky UEFA Europa League game against Midtjylland to come on Thursday, a match he really needs to win to get supporters onside after a slow start.
