Leeds fans begs Daniel Farke never to pick ONE player again despite win over Plymouth, they’ve had enough.

Manor Solomon scored a last-gasp winner against Plymouth Argyle to clinch the Championship title for Leeds United.

Daniel Farke made the strange decision to leave Largie Ramazani out as the Whites looked to secure the Championship title at Home Park on Saturday (3 May).

Farke’s side dominated possession in the early exchanges. However, it was the hosts who took the lead in the 18th minute as Mustapha Bundu glided past Joe Rodon and saw his shot strike the post and deflect off the unfortunate Sam Byram into the back of the Leeds net.

This would prove to be the last meaningful action of a largely uneventful first half. However, it didn’t take long for the visitors to get back on level terms after the restart as Wilfried Gnonto scored for the third game in a row in the 53rd minute.

After a quiet afternoon for the Championship’s top scorer this season, Joël Piroe thought he had put Leeds in front, only for the linesman’s flag to go up.

However, there was late drama on the South Coast as Solomon scored a last-gasp winner to secure the Championship title for the Whites.

Rodon not at his usual best as Leeds clinch Championship

Since making his loan switch from Tottenham permanent last summer, Rodon has been a mainstay in the Leeds United team.

The Welshman played every minute of this season’s Championship, and his performances at the back were crucial in getting the Whites promoted. However, the centre-back had an afternoon to forget at Home Park.

While Rodon wasn’t too busy, when he was called into action, he wasn’t at his usual best.

The 27-year-old was beaten far too easily in the build-up to Plymouth’s goal, and he also won just five of his 10 aerial duels and lost his only ground duel [Sofascore].

However, it didn’t matter in the end, as Solomon scored a goal which will go down in Leeds history.
