INEOS backed Amorim’s plea to offload Onana

After the League Cup debacle, the board advised Onana to consider alternative options, though these would be limited due to the European transfer window closing on September 1.

Turkish outfits, as well as those in Saudi Arabia, are able to do business until September 12 and September 10, respectively – hence his swift agreement with Trabzonspor.
