Tottenham Hotspur collected all three points against Villarreal on Tuesday night, and the result has warranted an additional reward.

The £1.82m figure might seem like a drop in the ocean for a club as big as Tottenham. However, to put this into context, the winner of the FA Cup earns £2m. Therefore, the money Spurs have earned from their victory over Villarreal is quite significant for a single match.

Spurs need to earn money in preparation for January
