“I know Spurs fans don’t like me but……..: Gary Neville stylishly seeking for Spurs fans forgiveness as he predicts who is going to finish higher in the table between Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City.

Gary Neville has predicted whether Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur could end up above Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the Premier League table this season.

The Sky Sports pundit was hugely impressed by the display produced by Tottenham against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

So, what has Gary Neville said about Tottenham Hotspur? Let’s take a look.

Gary Neville makes Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal prediction

Well, Tottenham Hotspur played out a 2-2 draw with Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.

Spurs played well against the Red Devils and were arguably the better team. The North London club also had a few of their best players missing, including playmaker James Maddison and forward Son Heung-min.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville, who does not want Ivan Toney to join Arsenal this month, was impressed by what he saw from Spurs.

The pundit believes that Tottenham have what it takes to finish above Arsenal and Liverpool in the Premier League table.

Neville told Sky Sports: “If they keep their players fit, they are a certainty to finish in the top four and I think they can get to second and third.

“With those players back, and if they can get through these next few weeks, I genuinely think they can be better than Arsenal and Liverpool this season.

“It might end up being a good draw in the FA Cup against Manchester City. Go out of that and concentrate completely on the league. But they do need to win a trophy.

“If he wins a trophy, great, but we know in the past when teams have had a really explosive season, they’re not usually in Europe or competitions.

“For Ange Postecoglou to get to second or third, which they could do if they have a clean run at it, would be something special.”

My View: Tottenham should stay positive

Arsenal almost won the Premier League title last season and are among the sides who could genuinely win it this time around. Liverpool are at the top of the league table at the moment.

Manchester City have won their last three Premier League matches and are back to their best.

It is going to be tough for Totteham, and I believe that they should focus on a top-four finish in the Premier League table.

It is not going to be easy for Spurs to finish above Arsenal and Liverpool, but if the North London club continue to win matches and pick up points, then they could well do so.

Tottenham fans should be positive, but the team should focus on a top-four finish.
