Tottenham Hotspur have been the busiest club in the January transfer window, and they may not be finished yet.

Indeed, after the Antonio Nusa deal seemingly collapsed, Spurs have some cash burning a hole in their pocket, and they may spend it in the coming days.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Alasdair Gold has been discussing who Spurs could still end up signing this month, and he’s said that a signing with a loan-back clause involved could be possible.

Gold has named three players who Tottenham could perhaps still go for this month, naming Hayden Hackney, Adam Wharton and Jonathan Rowe who could be young players primed for a move.

Three potential Spurs signings named

Gold spoke about what Tottenham could do before the deadline.

“Like I say, keep an eye, if there’s going to be a deal I do wonder if it will be a young player loan-back deal. Like Nusa, I’ve said before about the young players in the Championship like Jonathan Rowe, Hayden Hackney and Adam Wharton, players like that who they think we should secure them for the future now that the Nusa deal hasn’t gone through,” Gold said.

One to watch

There hasn’t been much happening during this January transfer window, but Tottenham may remain a team to watch.

With the Nusa deal now off, there is money there to spend on another player, and there are at least three young Championship stars who are admired.

In our view, Rowe would make the most sense as a signing from these three players. After all, he plays a similar position to Nusa, and that was clearly an area that Spurs wanted to bolster.

Whether or not Spurs do anything before the deadline remains to be seen, but this is certainly a situation to keep an eye on.
