With his decision, Butler has highlighted his insistence on winning the game at all costs. The Heat recently lost their match against the Wizards with a concluding score of 108-110.
Miami squad is currently occupying the eighth position in the Eastern Conference and in the season they are 35-29. Whereas the Wizards are standing in fourteenth place in the same conference, and in the season they are 11-53.

It was during the concluding part of the game and the Heat squad was behind the Wizards by two points. Butler had to make a snap decision as only a few seconds remained in the game.
He made the decision to go for the win and went with a three-pointer. However, his shot was not accurate, and Butler did not have any regrets regarding his decisions. Butler finished his game with 23 points, four assists, and three rebounds.
During the last seconds, before Butler, Duncan Robinson also attempted to score a three-pointer but missed. Regarding the game, Butler had shared, “This game is just very humbling. If you don’t come out with the right mindset, this is what will happen and continue to happen. Ain’t too much to say.”
