🚨 JUST IN: TOTTENHAM FANS LEFT REELING AS HARRY KANE MAKES BOMBSHELL STATEMENT AHEAD OF EURO 2024 FINAL!

Harry Kane is preparing for the biggest night of his life when England lock horns with Spain in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final in Berlin.

This is the chance for the 30-year-old to do what he couldn’t do at Spurs, and amazingly enough, even in the colours of Bayern Munich

Last summer, Harry Kane broke Tottenham hearts when he, after over a decade, left his boyhood club to join Bayern Munich.

Ahead of the finals, The goal-crazy striker made it clear that he never left the London club for the Bundesliga giants ‘because of the Euros being in Germany’.

It was pretty clear, he was searching for silverware, but it just happens to be that, as soon as he steps into Munich, they go trophyless for the first since 2012.

Jamie Carragher has previously questioned if Kane will ever win a trophy, but he has the chance to do the ultimate and end England’s near-60-year wait for a trophy against Spain.

Kane’s struggles to win a trophy at Spurs have been well-documented, but one thing he didn’t stop doing was picking up individual awards.

Three Premier League top-goalscorer awards, including a record-breaking 280 in the colours of Spurs, surpassing the great Jimmy Greaves to the top of the charts.

But Kane has made it clear, without any hesitation, that he would swap all of that to win the final of Euro 2024 with England, as he told Sky Sports.

That might divide the Spurs fanbase, but, 12 months after leaving north London, the chance for Kane to win a trophy is still on.

“I didn’t move to Bayern Munich because of the Euros being in Germany,” said Kane. “The support I have had since I have been in Germany has been incredible, throughout the whole season with Bayern and even here in the tournament.

On if he would swap all his top-scorer trophies to win the Euro 2024 final: “Yeah, for sure,” responded Kane with a chuckle.

“It’s no secret that I haven’t won a team trophy. Every year that goes by, you are motivated and determined to change that. I have the opportunity to win one of the biggest you could ever win and to make history with my nation, which I am extremely proud to be English. No question, I would swap everything I have done in my career to have a special night and a win against (Spain).”

Harry Kane’s chance to dance in a major final

From a League Cup final against Manchester City to a Champions League final against Liverpool. Kane hasn’t delivered, or scored in any of them.

That is another thing that has haunted him, but this is his ample chance to end it.

It would be the story of all stories if Kane were to score in his first major final and he would then go on to win a trophy.

Added to that, Spurs as a club would probably take a lot of unnecessary shots because, as soon as they didn’t have any representation in the England squad after James Madison was axed from the Euro 2024 squad, some suggested this is now going to be the time for the nation to win a major title.

And Kane would have also found his trophy after leaving the club, just like Kyle Walker, Kieran Trippier, Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, even Tottenham flop Tanguy Ndombele, did when they departed in their respective ways.
