At just 24 years old, he has time to improve and potentially become one of the best strikers around. Despite his impressive credentials, Spurs can sign David for a bargain price due to his contract situation. Lille has previously demanded £50-60m for David but has now reduced their asking price to £25m.
This transfer would not only bring a talented striker to Tottenham but also leave Postecoglou with sufficient funds to strengthen other areas of the pitch.
