Son Heung-min Left Stunned by Tottenham teammate’s Electrifying Speed!
Heung-min Son was able to open his account in pre-season with a goal in Tottenham Hotspurβs win over Vissel Kobe.
Ange Postecoglouβs side capped off their trip to Japan with an exciting 3-2 victory over the J League champions on Saturday.
Pedro Porro was the first name on the scoresheet for Spurs, with Heung-min Son and then Mikey Moore adding to the goals.
Spurs have now made it three wins from three in pre-season following their victories over Hearts and QPR in recent weeks.
There were a number of impressive performances out there for Tottenham but their captain, Son, was keen to praise one player, in particular.
Heung-min Son was so impressed by one Tottenham player vs Vissel Kobe
Over the opening two pre-season friendlies, Son had been presented with a number of good opportunities to find the back of the net.
However, despite scoring 17 times in the Premier League alone last season, the South Korean was unable to put the ball in the back of the net.
Next for Spurs is a trip to Seoul, South Korea, the homeland of Son and the national hero will be looking to put on a display in front of his fans.
Although it is going to be the Son show during this tour of Asia, the 32-year-old was keen to praise one of his teammates after Saturdayβs win.
Speaking to the clubβs media after the game, the Spurs captain admitted he loves playing alongside forward Brennan Johnson.
βWe work a lot about these kind of situations and especially when Brennan is so quick, I want to always try and keep his tempo,β Son said.
βThe lads have worked really hard during the week, weβve put in some fantastic work and it was important to win the game in our way.β π

βWe understand each other really well, especially when the ball is on the left side Brennan is already in the box waiting for my cross. This time, Brennan did a fantastic job and I just had to finish it well.β
Brennan Johnson makes bright start to pre-season
As Son alluded to, the Wales international has made a really promising start to pre-season with a goal in their opener against Hearts.
Johnson added to his tally of goal contributions on Saturday against the Japanese outfit and could even have had his own goal.
Son turned provider for the winger in the first half and Johnson would have had a tap in if it was not for a sensational intervention from a Vissel Kobe defender.
What will be interesting, going into the new season, is whether Son lines up on the other flank where he and Johnson can link up like they did in Japan or whether the captain will play through the middle
