🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 🗣️Anxiety rises among fans 🗣️Tottenham take on Leicester city in less than two weeks with no define striker 🗣️Our season is over before facing the real PL giant 🗣️Ange postecoglou vowed to land monumental 50-goals striker

Tottenham Hotspur are progressing in talks with Bournemouth over Dominic Solanke.

The 26-year-old striker has a £65million release clause in his contract which is only accessible to the ‘Big Six’ Premier League clubs.

HITC has been told that Spurs are willing to pay £65million for Dominic Solanke this summer but would prefer to restructure the payments.

Tottenham would prefer payments to be staggered over multiple windows rather than paying in one lump sum.

HITC revealed on Friday that Bournemouth were not expecting to lose Solanke this summer but Spurs are now progressing talks and the forward was left out of their latest pre-season clash against Rayo Vallecano.

Solanke scored 21 goals in all competitions for Bournemouth last season and was branded “deadly” by Scott Parker on Sky Sports.

It is understood that Solanke’s former club Chelsea also retain an interest but they are progressing with talks over Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion and also maintain an interest in Victor Osimhen.Ange Postecoglou emphasised the need for a new striker at Spurs in a transfer plea to the club.“It’s still the area of the park we’re really probably the thinnest when I talk about squad-wise at the moment, so obviously that’s a focus for us,” he told football.london .

Tottenham have been assessing options with Postecoglou and identified four targets this summer.

Other than Solanke, HITC can confirm that Santi Gimenez, Jonathan David and Ivan Toney remain on their radar.Sources have also confirmed to HITC that the signing of a new striker does not depend on Richarlison’s exit.

Spurs are open to selling Richarlison this summer and he has attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League, but Tottenham ideally want to recoup the £60million they paid for him back in 2022.
